    Why? It looks like it's going to do a much better job of matching the vibes than Arnie's version, which is great in its own right. It just wasn't the book.

    Glenn Powell will probably be good in this. The character is not exactly likeable in the book, but you still root for him. It's quite funny too. I think Edgar Wright will knock this out of the park. I just hope it doesn't get trashed for hanging closer to the book than the movie people are probably more familiar with.

    I'm intrigued, definitely follows the book more than the movie. Which I'm fine with, would be hard to remake the movie with the right amount of camp.

    I'll be particularly intrigued if the ending follows the book, which I doubt given ... things, but the couple of shots in the trailer imply it just might.

    If its good I'll be pleasantly surprised, just not a lot of happy remakes these days.

    It's Edgar Wright, so even if it's not good somehow, it'll still be a fun watch with his directing style for action comedies, and that's usually enough for me.
