Dusty Rhodes Has Cancer

My dog, the American Dream Dusty Rhodes, has extraskeletal osteosarcoma. The vet gave her a month, but she's still here and tumor-free five months and $15,000 later. As long as her treatment keeps working I'm going to keep paying for it, but I wouldn't say no to support. Plus they told us that there's so little data on her cancer (on account of the usually short survival time) that info from her treatment is going to help other dogs in the future.

Donating is great, but sharing the link to your networks to get the word out is just as good if not better.

She goes in for a check up at the end of the month and that will give us more information as to if her current chemotherapy and medication regimen is working as intended or not.

Rhodes hit her initial goal!

Extending it to $4000 and will continue going from there. Thank you to everyone who's given thus far. She has an exam scheduled for next week that's going to give us an idea of how she's reacting to the chemotherapy.

The vet says her blood work came back perfect. We're keeping her on her pill regimen but she's flat out miraculous with where she's at right now. No other dog the vet has encountered has ever had these kind of results after a diagnosis of extraskeletal osteosarcoma.

Of course that news also cost me $830 so all the help we can get is still appreciated.
