The borrowing of ideas isn't inherently bad, but it would be a pity if the onslaught of homage suppresses the expression of a Darksiders identity of its own.

You can't borrow something no one owns. But seriously: this guy doesn't seem to know of any games outside Zelda and God of War. It will probably be a better Zelda than Zelda, so let's be happy with that.

Agreed, this and Dante's inferno look dirty, Dante's is going to be much darker though, or at least their gameplay trailers let on to it more than darksiders

Sorry for the necrobump, but incase no one knew (since I just found out) the artistic designer for the game is Joe Madureira, by far one of my favorite comic book artists. Apparently he has hinted that he thought about putting in Battle Chasers #10 teasers into the game.

15-20 hours for an adventure title seems pretty solid, looking forward to this, dante's inferno and gow 3 early next year.

I just hope that the gameplay is really tight and solid, I get a little wary when a company advertises for upwards of 6 months and the game doesn't live up to all the hype they've built for it (like Too Human).

Really, all I need is some good physics, fluid combat, responsive controls/camera, and the amount of polish you'd expect considering how much they've spent on advertising. Right now it's looking like they'll deliver, although I'll probably end up buying it regardless.

I did just reserve it today, along with GoW 3 (the insane edition) and Mass Effect 2 :D
