Definitely ready for another Kojima's Wild Ride, enjoyed 1 so excited to see where this one goes.
Was it known that it was going to be an actual sequel? I haven't followed any news/teasers about this so I just assumed it was going to be kind of a spiritual sequel at most.
It was rumored, and Norman Reedus let slip that they were working on another one during some interview or something, but I don't believe he directly said it was DS2.
I'm hyped, I found the first one enjoyable enough. World building was strong, so hoping to see it built apon.
new trailer from State of Play from today
Edit - Kojima also confirmed he'll be working on a new stealth espionage IP after this game comes out
Ok i'm in, nice to see that there appears to be a bit more varied enviroments this time and going off the dialog i guess we're going to at least Mexico and i'd imagine all the way down South America.
Oh shit, it's Solid sna....I mean it's Hard Viper! Legally distinct and different in every way.
I have no fucking idea what's going on in this trailer lol, I tried to play the 1st one but it didn't hit me. Think I might need to go back and give it a bit more time since only spent about 2-3hr in the original
Kojima is streaming and explaining the game right now.
Here is the live event.

Game looks great on ps5 pro, shame I have no interest.
90 over at Meta, appears Kojima cooked. my backlog is so bad rn but will be difficult to resist until a PC release..
Yeahhhh I'm gonna wait for the eventual directors cut on PC a year from now. It looks amazing and is more of what I want, but I could only play it on base PS5 when my rtx is sitting right there just waiting to be used lol.

Mighty fun game, even though the last couple of chapters feel like some wild acid trip story-wise, lol. Which is of course on brand, although I feel it sometimes crossed the unserious line just a tiny bit too much. I wonder if that was what Kojima changed/added so that the game would remain more divisive
I have had zero bits trickle out about this anywhere, especially compared to the first game.
