damn lol every pic i see of a LS killing Vrtra the drop is always 2x wools and 2x threads whcih must piss the brds off SO bad! lol. sincee you need 3x wool to make thread and 3x thread to make cloth...oh well /comfort

Yeah, that's a pretty linear craft as far as Clothcraft goes.

I think 3 thread always = 1 cloth in the synth formula, and 2 wool break down into one thread (ie. 2x sheep wool + lightning crystal = 1 wool thread). The wonderfully lame thing about Clothcraft is that if you HQ in making a piece of the cloth, you don't get any bonus, which IMO is stupid.

Only other way I know of to get pure cloth without actually using threads is to desynth some beastmen items using wind crystals. Antican robes and Tonberry coats are two good examples (cotton and linen cloth), not sure what the coarse robe breaks down to, I think it was wool or velvet maybe? I'll have to give it a whirl someday.

Probably won't let you. Not everything can be desynthed, and fairly sure a Toredor's can't, odds are people would be reluctant to try even if you could XD
