Is there any way to get baking soda (made from movalpolos water) that doesn't require movalpolos to be owned by a nation? A stack of baking soda was just sold on seraph but to the best of my knowledge movalpolos has never been owned by anyone, ever. Hit me.

The zone hasn't been controlled since about a week after CoP release.

It must not be that hard to control? I always thought it was a xp gained/xp lost ratio Unless I'm wrong about zone control, a merit party or two xping on goblin near the BC could get you the zone.

Movalpolos is where good people go to lose xp, apparently.

Russta, if you want to control the zone, try this. During the conquest calculation, which lasts for about 5 minutes, the npc in Movalpolos appears regardless of who owned the zone last week and who will own the zone next week. You can trade him armor for conquest influence during this window (though you can't buy anything from him I tried) and give your nation a huge leg up.

Combine this with a PR blitz and organizing random merit/npc/xp parties with friends in the zone, you should be able to hold onto it for a week.

I know we tried this on Asura, and though we weren't successful, we did make a rather noticeable dent in the influence graph with only a few days worth of effort.

trying to exp in movalpolos doesnt really work properly.. but it's ok.

EXP there is like a 75 PT trying to exp in moon, sucks bawls. Also it's a bit like dynamis, there's 2 whm 2 blm 2 rdm grouped up in pairs of 2, in various locations, and repop fast.

We just sleepga'd all the links we got and bulldozed our way through it. It was decent, but that's about it. Thieves loved it because they were stealing platinum coins like they were candy.

Pretty sure regional influence decays over time. That there's nothing in that zone worth sticking around for more than an hour every week, nobody ever takes control.

I too would like to get my hands on Movalpolis Water to make Baking Soda. I love Marron Glace, and I would love selling the HQ2 version that you get by adding in Baking Soda with the key item.

But really, good luck getting Movalpolis under non-beastmen control, that is one of the worst designed regions in CoP. (It is a good place to go if you want to get a Scorpion or Demon Harness for your NPC though.)
