Looking about everywhere, I can't seem to find any maps or info on this one. My LS has beat Bubu already, and tried Valk a few times. Want to give Quifm a try, but hate going in blind.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any places that some strats or maps might be posted?

You assume that everybody going nuts over me posting, well, anything isn't entertaining to me. I made a post earlier that simply contributed to the subject in a general thread and got two people jumping on me. This is getting silly guys.

Here's my not-done map. It's missing some mobs that our LS goes nowhere near (ie, most of the eastern side), and it's missing mobs that pop after boss dies, such as the weapons that are just south of the tower.

At the beginning, immediately start killing stirges, and send people to find the ??? mark for SJ's. After that, just follow the numbers. Here's the basic rundown: kill stirges, get ???, migrate to kraken NM, kill it, kill all the statues nearby (that are in the way), migrate north to bombs and elemental outside of tower, go to behemoth dominion (kill everything on the way), kill golem NM, go back to tower, set up in NW corner, kill boss.

edit: and I forgot a very large instruction at the end: when you kill the boss, don't let your blm cast thunder. Make sure they stick to bliz/water/stone (those are the eles you killed, remember?)

Coren, how safely can you get from the Kraken to cave leading to Behemoth's dominion in the path you marked? In the times we've done this zone (including our win) we backtracked to the lake and came around from the east, killing the light elemental on the way, then pulling a goblin statue to the tunnel before cutting across NW to the cave.

Mainly I'm curious, can you go that way without aggroing the goblin statues in front of the Boss, and without aggroing the snoll near the ice elemental? Also, the Effigies in the tunnel south of the boss that are in the way, you have 2 marked on your map, but for some reason I felt there were three, am I wrong?

P.S. Very nice map, but I believe the water and ice elementals are about 1/4 of a grid west of where you have them marked, and that the earth elemental is in the F-5 grid in that part that juts out to the north.

Off-topic, but outside of the abyssmal drop rate, has anyone managed to get any AF from the mobs here before killing the boss? :*(

Honestly, the exact number and location may be off for some mobs. I'm not the puller, so I only see lotsa stuff incoming, not what it looks like before they pop stuff (and unlike half the endgame, I don't have any teleport/movement hacks that would enable me to scout on my own). That being said, that's the path/strategy we use, and the general locations are right. I can say that's the way we've gone on the 3 or 4 times we've won, and the one time we didn't was because we didn't know the 5th location of the ??? and had to spend 15 min looking for it.

If you make sure everybody knows to stay away from the tower, it's quite safe (some idiot going sightseeing will ruin your day, so don't take idiots with you... that giant has a very large agro range). Just stay near the end of the bone wall while approaching, and then head NE. We always clear out the snolls. As long as you don't take too long to find the ???, you should have plenty of time. There are maybe 6 or 9 snolls, and are fairly easy, just stun the aoe's if possible. They're quite squishy if your melees aren't gimp.

Me not pulling could explain the ice/water elemental discrepencies, but I really think the earth elemental always pops up when we're killing the golem, unless I have the golem AND the elemental in the wrong place, which is entirely possible.

Yes. We've gotten belt/capes, af, AND af-1. All before AND after killing the boss. You'll get lvl 73 AF, Feet AF-1, and random belt/capes.
