.dat locations for a couple of things

Anyone know a site that lists the .dats for everything?

in particular split/slugshot and eagle eye shot, I think it's obvious what I want to do. But it would be nice to have the complete list for future referance/needs

There's actually a program on the Windower forums called "Spell Swapper" that will automate this for you.

Of course, I'm sure people are pretty scared to download things currently XD

Although I can assure you that Spell Swapper is indeed safe. (The only time it accesses the internet is to update the list files for what .dat is what, and you can simply never use this function if it scares you)

I usually just did .dat swaps manually, but finding the dats is another thing >=\

Oh, this probably is a stupid question but can you use spell swapper while logged in or do you have to do it logged out like manual changes?

From what I've seen, once you use the spell once then it's cached and will retain it's original animation until you restart ffxi.

I haven't used it with this specific spell swapper yet, but all it's doing is moving files, can't really be any different.

If you can do it logged in that'd be awesome...

When swapping dats manually, and you already see them in the zone you're in (like if you swapped fragmentation out for darkness, and you already saw fragmentation from someone next to you), you'll have to zone or logout>in to empty the cache. I'd just be logged in and swap the files within the folders.
