Totally. A shot to the jaw can knock anyone out. That and a clean shot to the nose will make most people give up pretty damn fast.

A good portion of professional wrestling moves are just a "safe" variation of martial arts/olympic wrestling. By "safe" I mean the wrestlers job is to make the move look as close as they can like it hurts someone without actually hurting them. The best pro wrestlers make things look painful but are actually competent and safe workers.. on the other hand sloppy fucks get people injured. I hate to say it but Japan has better pro wrestling in alot of respects than what we have here in the workrate department.
