Imperishable Night is pretty interesting. You can download a demo of it somewhere on the net (I've got the demo but I can't remember where I went to get it). It's all made by one guy named ZUN. He does the music, the artwork, and anything else.

Shanghai Alice is the name of the one-man company that makes the series of windows danmaku (curtain shooting) games usually called Touhou. My favorite is Imperishable Night, that's the most recent "normal" one (the next one was a vs. mode variation, and after that was a camera shooting thing).

edit: and I was about to go find that video ziegus posted again. It's actually the bonus stage, and the boss has about 20 forms (spells) to go through. The guy in the video gets killed around form 17 or something. There's an ingame replay file somewhere on touhouwiki of a guy finishing the whole thing, with youma solo, stretching each spell as long as he can just to keep grazing for more points.

Looks like he atleast has "protection" mode or something as much as he got hit in some parts so he won't die O_o

The actual hit box is the 5X5 pixel dot at the center of your character. Anything that hits the character sprite but not that little dot just gives you more points (grazing). Also, if you get hit but press the spell/bomb button fast enough you can cancel the hit and not lose a life.

A good BT client can pick certain files to download and ignore the rest. I use uTorrent. It helps to have a gamepad of some sort, a usb-ps2 controller adapter works pretty well.

Here, I'll even start seeding the torrent while I go play VP2.

Awesome, I'll start downloading it while I'm sleeping tonight. Hopefully it won't take as long as the Imperishable Night OST torrent I downloaded recently. Took me days just to get seeders on that.
