    High School Girl Fight Video...

I've been looking for this video for a few days and it seems a simple search on youtube doesn't work since it violates the TOS. I did a google search but I got up some other fight videos... If anyone can find this video it would be awesome... It's the one on the news so if you watch the news you will know which one ! Thanks!

    That news piece was reeeetarrrrded.

There's one way of keeping people from leaking videos of fights onto the internet, THE BANNING OF CELLPHONES.

    What?

P.S. There's no way that one person (girl?) who was filming could have stopped that fight, that father is an idiot.

It's a shame that growing up black students are socialized to promulgate this "gangsta" attitude. It's disgusting. I'm tired of seeing the few black kids at the schools just gather together and fall into the stereotypes set before them.

I'm half black but I look white so I grew up living two lives really. But I can see it for what it is when I see my little brother and sister coming home and listening to rap, my brother attempting to dress with baggy pants, my sister dressing like a slut. It's infuriating. I just wish our society wasn't so damn discriminant. I think a large part of the problem is black people feel this need to perpetuate that "they're black and they're proud so they're going to listen to rap and dress differently and promulgate this false bravado". I hate that... seriously. I only wish I could be alive for the day when color is so indistinct that nobody is forced into these predetermined roles which we have today.

Edit: I'm not saying there aren't the exceptional few who choose to be above the demeaning of themselves to a stereotype. But they are just that, exceptional and few.

It is a shame, I think it stems from the need to feel accepted by your peers. Its more prevelant in lower income/single parent homes obviously because kids are looking to be accepted by someone. Since Mom or Dad is working to support a family alone, typically 2 (or more) jobs or crazy overtime at 1 job they look out to their friends for acceptance.

A few months ago, we had an attempted murder case being represented out of my office. The minor we were representing was 14, and involved in a gang or guys ranging about 17-19 y/o. Interviewing the minor, and the witnesses, we found out that the gun was pretty much put in his hands by the older guys to "prove his worth." I guess they were taunting him to pull the trigger; saying to him "man hes not down, hes just a little bitch" and other stuff to that effect. We were discussing that for this boy, the only way out of this situation, was to pull the trigger, which he did.

The person he shot almost died but ended up living. I dont remember where he was hit atm.

But it goes to show you how teens will get themselves wrapped up in situations they have no control of and will end up getting egged on to do things they dont want to do or want to do in the heat of the moment.

BTW, the kid is being tried now as an adult.
