Holy crap, this is finally out? Ive been waiting forever for this anime.
Gonna pass on the RAW though, gonna hold off untill the other 2 eps are released as well ><

Well, Makato Shinkai said that it was ready on last Jan 22nd, but yesterday was Yahoo! Japan net Premier
the premiere is going to be released 3rd of March.

Seems like a love story but that's all I could make out. I'm going to keep checking up on this because the animation looks realllllllly nice.

Not for action maniac for sure.
It's about long distance relationship of 2 people. I'm not sure if you have watched other Shinkai's work before, but it's the usual theme brought by him in most of his work. If you like one of his previous work before, I think you can like this one too.

It reminds me of an anime I rented once where it was about a long distance relationship of these 2 where she was away in space and he was on Earth. They kept in touch via text messages on their phones and it took 2 or so years for the texts to send each way. The animation was pretty, but there was no substance, it was emo to the maxx.
TOTAL WASTE OF $3 RENTAL FEE.

Yeah, that's why I kinda expecting a better depth this time.
Shinkai animation is top notch, but the story is... I don't wanna say bad. But it could have been done with a better depth

I had a feeling it was done by the same person. Just had that kind of feel to it after seeing the preview.

yeah... I found the story in anime is a bit unconclusive too
so I picked a manga for filling the rest of the story
