'Ghost in the Shell society' not to far away?

Kinda interesting, and honestly this is one of the reasons why I want to live a long life. Think how much technology has evolved in just the past 10 years, hell 5 years even, and just imagine what will be possible in 30 years.

Those three laws were made in 1942.

1.) A robot will not harm authorized Government personnel but will terminate intruders with extreme prejudice.
2.) A robot will obey the orders of authorized personnel except where such orders conflict with the Third Law.
3.) A robot will guard its own existence with lethal antipersonnel weaponry, because a robot is bloody expensive.

    Those three laws?

Yes, I know Asimov's three laws of robotics, but I think David Langford's version was much more laughable but may be true.

Yes them. minus that last one.

I would be fine with robots, as long as they where linked on a company computer and though computers would be linked to a government organization, and every person had a kill switch that that had for there robot that would be linked around there wrist at all time.

As long as they are kept within reason, and they don't take away many of there jobs (I.E.: gardener butler assistant shit like that i wouldn't care about, but if they start getting in to politics and law, shit like that they should stay out of.

but i only want one if i can get a Lucy LiU bot.

Dude here's what I'm thinking, imagine if this kinda shit can help doctors replace those irreplaceable parts of the body. Such as the hands, the eyes, the hearing, the brain. Imagine a cure for multiple sclerosis, blindness, deafness, or mental disorders. Now THAT would be a perfect reason to be a cyborg.

    And gimme super powers, kthx.
