Frequent disconnects?

Is anyone getting or noticing other people having frequent disconnects in FFXI since last night? I've been getting them and so has alot of people, just wondering if this is isolated or not.

I've been AFK in my MH in Port Jeuno for the past 12 hours or so without issues. Nobody has sent me tells bitching about getting dropped frequently or mentioned it in LS chat. This is on Hades...what server are you on?

Our ls was d/cing like crazy the other night in sea, seemed like whenever a blood pact would go off, all our ps2'ers d/c. Called a gm and he said he would pass the info along to the dev team. Oddly enough 2 people said they turned the brightness down and it stopped them from d/cing (I dont know what the hell brightness has to do with dc, but meh)

Not sure what's going on... last night I dc around 12 times, about every 20-30mins... about 4-5 people in my dynamis run was doing the same thing, also a friend's merit party, some members were regularly DCing as well.

Not sure if it's ISP related or something like what SE claimed during that period before ninja fixing the DC when you zoned into certain areas...

I Tried my other char with another ISP, no DC.

Friend of mine asked me about this yesterday, I said I had no idea since I've only dc'd about 20 times in my history of playing FFXI.

One of our member was having DC issues in sky but the rest of us were fine.

I only D/Ced when i was near congested areas (MH, AH in Aht Urhgan)
