eh, not unless i had my char back too, but i don't think that's possible, and even if it were i'd still be reluctant (worry about losing too much time).

$13/month is expensive for something you could play 24/7? Where I live, one person going to see one movie in the evening costs $12. That's for, what, two hours of entertainment? Not even including popcorn or anything.

Just be thankful it's one set price per month, not charging per minute like Internet access used to be. *is old*

I just paid $24 something for my new account, which was activated last month and supposed to have a free 30-day trial too. Oddly I only paid $12 for my another account. Both of them uses the same credit card. Some of my ls members claimed they had to pay $24 saying SE just doubled its fee cost . Happen to anyone?

The month you re-activate an account, you get charged for that and the next month at the end of that month. I assume the same is true of a new account, although do all new accounts get 1 month free? I cant remember.

Well, if it's -only- the financial issue that worries you, you should get FFXI, I'm in (well was) in the same boat as you were and FFXI -saved- me a lot of money in my first few years of college (Staying home on Friday nights playing instead of going out, etc <_<). But... it's not the healthiest choice. I stopped playing 'hardcore' about 1.5 years ago when I started working full time / study part time and I'm a lot happier now then I was back then I think. >_>;;

it happened to my JP ver account where the fee has been doubled to 34USD in a particular month ago. And the account never been activate by since it is my main account. Just been lazy to make a phone call and i doubt my sister who study in japan willing to help me to do, so... I just had to leave the extra payment there ; ;

Mine was 14.03$ canadian on my visa card last month...someone is stealing your money, because you it shoudnt cost 8$ more than mine.

0.95$ US = 1.00$ CAN. Transfert rate isnt that bad, and the additional cost shouldnt be more than 1%
