jk. is ff11 still a good video game? is it dying? i haven't played any video games in over a year. i moved far away from home and have a gf/apartment/job/etc. i have a lot of nostalgia for this game though, i'm afraid some day my nostalgia for video games will suck me back in and ruin my life.

i'd rather have that $80 Murdoc said he was gonna give me after he changed the password and billing information on my account without notice, or just have my char back, than be legendary. it's probably for the best though, since i'm less tempted to come back

I believe it mightve been deleted. the character was an hourglass mule for my old LS for awhile, then it disappeared.

nah it's ok. there's no way I can come back to this game. I may have a lot of nostalgia, but I learned my lesson about succumbing to that nostalgia by coming back to the game a few times before already. it's never the same each time around. the things that i'm nostalgic about are just banal when I have them again, and the things that have changed are too different and alien. le sigh

i'm thinking about getting some other kind of game though, but i don't know what to get into. it has to be easily avoidable and non-addictive and not time or attention consuming. in the fall i'll be a junior, majoring in math, and it's pretty hard, and i can't have stuff distracting me from my self-educating activities either (right now i have literally over 20 books sitting around my apartment that i'm trying to read )
