Xbox 360 save game question!

Alright, my friend went away for a month and a half, so i borrowed his 360 and I got really far in GH2. When he comes back I plan to buy a 360...question is how do i get my save from his 360 to mine.

Could I:

Load guitar hero up with his HD, load the game, take the hd out, put mine in, and save?

Is there a diff method or anything I can do? thanks

Have you considered getting a memory card?
it was the only way i could move my stuff off of a friends HDD.

was wondering if a memory card worked, i know for some games it works...other people were telling me to get some sort of cable that copies contents of your hd to your comp, then you can put it on another hd... so just curious what might work best :X

go to video game store.

buy used 360 memory card.

copy data.

return card saying you didn't need it within 7 days.
