Anyone got some tips on this after i wipe tango with a tracker? I heard it was like the 5-3 fight except a little bit harder.

There are a variety of strategies depending on what jobs you have on hand. Their strengths are: unpredictable hate, WS spam, Sleep/Bind/Grav resistance. Their weakness is low HP and lack of magic defense.
Full balanced group that has 2 people with ES Sleepga is pretty much guaranteed win.
For smaller groups, you want everyone to be RDM BLM or SMN and focus on 2hr magic damage and ES Sleep(ga) to take them out ASAP. I've duo'd several times with RDM x2 (requires 1 Reraise). There's also a JP RDM solo video out there but it leaves a lot to chance. Whichever approach you use, X and the Wyvern need to die during your first attack. This will cause the rabbit to become non-aggro, and prevent the Wyvern from aggroing you during Reraise because it doesn't return home if you wipe.
Keep in mind the most common result is an empty crate, and even when there's an item it's usually 2-3k. My group is 0/27 on weapon drops (yes that's almost 7 months).
Only a little is left to chance though in the solo RDM video). If you roll with two RDM using his method, it's a pretty surefire win. We did it with 4 a bunch of times and as long as you're willing to wipe/reraise, it's pretty easy but sometimes wiping isn't even necessary if you can kite around the pillar for a while. Just be sure to die out of range of where the mithras chill so that you can safely reraise.
One side note of this. If you get to the point where there are only pets left, they won't return to the Mithra's start point. We killed all the Mithras on the verge of death, figuring the wyvern would despawn, then I pulled the rabbit away from the wyvern so that the others could reraise quicker. I died away from the others, and neither the wyvern nor the rabbits either moved or despawned. I don't know if this was a weird bug or what, but it kept us from being able to reraise safely and cost us the win. Btw, we went about 1/6 for X's Knife (which is what we were after) and got nothing 3 or 4 of the other times we won. And it sounds like we got really lucky.Originally Posted by suji
The Rabbit doesn't run back but he also doesn't reaggro you provided that you killed itsmaster, which is why it's really important to kill the wyvern before you wipe because he will reaggro you I think (we always managed to kill the wyvern first so I can't say for sure.)Originally Posted by Byrd
That's how they work, it's kinda counterintuitive compared to Dyna or elsewhere.I don't know if this was a weird bug or what, but it kept us from being able to reraise safely and cost us the win
The rabbit will not aggro or link if X is dead (you still have to kill it, but you can ignore it until all trackers are dead)
The wyvern will aggro regardless of Z's status.
Neither will move after a wipe.
Hence, it's important to kill wyvern in the first assault. It has about 2k HP so just about anyone can solo it (With 2+ Astral Flow it will die immediately). If you're planning on a Reraise strategy, then X is the next best target to eliminate since defeating her is a 2-for-1 in terms of targets you have to worry about for the next attack.
