I just recently bought ffxi for my computer, I have always played on ps2 before. I bought it installed it at home and was able to run it fine. Just moved back up to school, where before I just didn't play at all cause I left my ps2 at home, and I can't log into any characters. I was able to get into PoL download this last version update, and go to character select screen and select a character. But then it just Downloading data for several minutes and then I receive a PoL-3001 error No response from the FFXI server. I'm thinking it must be something to do with way my schools network is setup, cause I tested running the game at home and it was fine and nothing on my PC has changed. Anyone know how I might be able to fix this problem or get around it? Thanks
