FFXI on 360

I have two active FFXI accounts, both on PC.

I've now bought a 360 and would like the option of playing on it. To buy FFXI for 360, I'm looking at $30 new, or $5 for a used copy on eBay.

Will the used copy be fine for use with my current FFXI accounts or will I need a brand new copy?

Also, do I actually need Xbox Live Gold for FFXI?

Used copy is Fine, only thing is you can't create a new account. Silver account (the free one) is fine as well, you'll probably want to create two of them.
