Making new thread because old one was locked.

Logged onto my char to find out my password was changed and EVERY bit of info possible was changed. I tried calling POL but they said since I can't confirm enough info they won't give me my character back. I even had the original FFXI and POL registration codes and all the info on the account before it was changed 3 days ago and they said they still wont do anything.

Basicly what guy said was I could give him an ultimatum. I could create a new account and call a GM to confirm my account was stolen. He said if i could contact midgetofdoom I could tell him he either can give my character back and keep the w/e crap gil items I had on it, or he could refuse and I could get him and my own character perma banned. But thats where the probalem is... midgetofdoom has'nt been online since it's he stole my char so I can't contact him.

So basicly im SOL and gonna ask for some help since the character who stole it hasn't been online since then and im assuming he hopped servers.

My character is Jibberish(taru) on Remora, kinda doubt he changed my characters server too but I'll just give info on it anyways. 75 BLM WHM SMN, 67 COR. I had full SMN AF2and some WHM/BLM AF2, some salvage gear, novia, and a nobles tunic with my own name written on it. I also had 97 Clothcraft with glasses and robe. Char model was the one with yellow/orange hair tied up into a bow in the back. I was also the biggest taru size model, both of my char models were fairly uncommen so shouldnt be to hard to find.

Account was stolen by Midgetofdoom/Meastro on Remora too. He was only 75 RDM and 67~ RNG. He had no sea so a novia and nobles with my name on him would be kinda a dead give away... Midgetofdoom's char was pretty gimp and his char model was shortest taru with the gayish messy hair.

Anyways... any info you could give me would be helpful, thx.

Edit: K... so apparently I was wrong, friend said he cant send me any items online so my char name either had it's name changed, or more likely moved to another server

whoever you talked to at SE was full of shit/lazy/both. call again.
Friend sold account to IGE when decided to quit and then changed his mind. called POL and got his account back and i think managed to keep all the money too...

I called them 3 times with 3 different people, they all said the same thing. I think its Saiph on Bahamut atm with ffxiah.com, Char was sold on Tuesday, the 25th, and that chars info only goes back to then and sold a Nobles tunic.

Yeah what neko said. I had a friend who had his acct jacked and initially they refused to change it back due to the CC being changed. But she just called back a few min later and got a different guy, he accepted the old CC number (records are maintained of all old CC) + reg key and changed the password back.
