It was pretty much just what I thought it was going to be. If you like Kevin Smith you will probably enjoy the show.

Edit: Only the first episode was directed by Smith, but whatever.

Never heard of it before, then again I guess because I never watch WB (or CW, w/e they wanna call it now) because they show a bunch of crap. Kevin Smith rocks socks so I watched the link; I REALLY hate that main actor guy, he's just so fake and dumb, but I like the concept of the show. I think I may watch a few and see how it turns out.

Kevin Smtih did not create the show. It was created by 2 chicks, if remember right both married too. He simply directed the pilot. He's in the episode too. During the employee meeting scene.

he wasn't born when they sold his soul. The mom had cancer(or some other thing) and sold they're first borns soul to the devil. They accepted that they'd never have children because of that. The fathers doctor told him he was sterile so they thought it was ok to have sex again. What they didn't know was the doctor told him that as a favor for the devil getting rid of some gambling debts.
