Edit: nvm it is, seen it but it is awesome to watch. Especially the slow motion parts show great techniques makes it easy to perfect a proper punch or thai knee.

Exaggerated, yes, but some of the stuff is a little out there. I did like the measurement of force from each of the blows and other parts of the show.

the amazing ones were the mauy thai knee to the chest, and those pumphrey brothers, the one pulling 2216 lbs with his elbow, and the other blowing away the row of bricks with over 4100 lbs of force x.x so sick lol

ah my bad didnt rewatch it. I do remember the Thai knee, was compared to like a car crash at 30 mph or something like that. kinda sad they didnt test the kicks too, those are almost as brutal. Muay Thai training starts with kicking a flippin tree about 1k times a day so you can't feel shit when you pop them off with all your force.

They tested some kicks in this version. It says 2006, so it seems like they redid some parts of it and re-aired it, because I definitely remember watching this show before then, but I hadn't seen this one.

The idea of comparing styles scientifically is pretty damn cool, but they went way too crazy hyping everything - and it looked like they only did one person from each major martial art?

I feel like a nerd saying this, but I would've enjoyed it more if they had a larger sample size. :/
