FFXI registration codes & platforms

My account has been originally activated on xbox 360, but since my xbox died ; ; I'm playing on pc.

With the upcoming WotG release, can I just buy the PC version and activate it or I have to buy the xbox version?

Both are the same region (EU), and I can manage any account info just fine from PC POL.
Just want to make sure there arent issues with platform specific codes.

can just buy the pc code. the codes are region specific for the game, but it doesnt matter which system its for.
