odd drops since updates

i have a few "go to" areas to farm/helm/chocodig when i dont have a better idea for making gil, most of which i have been using for over 6 months, if not longer. considering that, i thought i was fairly familiar with all of the drops from these areas..... but since the most recent update, i've gotten 2 items i'd never seen before. nothing earth shattering or expencive really, but i had never dug up a chicken bone in mer.mts, or got a scroll of chocobo mazurka off a brd fish in ssg.

has anyone else noticed any "odd" drops? or have i just been unlucky all this time. the scroll of zurka i'd be willing to believe i was just unlucky, as i don't always have /thf while farming there. but, i am an a10 digger with a maxed intelligence bore bird, and have dug almost exclucively in mer.mts for the last 4 months at least if not longer...i miss a day occationally but not many. how have i never seen a chicken bone there beore if it isn't a new drop?

I got Zurka off a brd in SSG around Novv. I was confused too. It made me laugh though.

That's happened to me once in Yuhtunga(same thing, chicken bone). It took me a rather long time to figure it out as well.

It's one of the items Goblin Diggers bury. However unlikely it is, you happened to randomly dig right on it without getting the "something's nearby" message.

oooo diggers, thats right. i got something really random back in the day in the canyon that way, rotten meat or something. took me forever to figure that out as well seeing as how i had not been following the digger or watching for it to dig >.>. thanks ^^ mystery solved.

Chocobo Mazurka is a fairly rare but by no means unusual drop off the Coastal Sahagins, seen it many times too.
