Vista and Nvidia 8x00 after update?

Anyone know if the lag issues have been resolved since the update?
I highly doubt it but I thought I'd ask if anyone knows.

*Note this has nothing to do with the USB issue everyones been having lately but a framerate issue directly related to vista and nvidia 8000 series cards*

i have encountered huge lag also since the most recent update. i'm on vista as well but i have a Nvidia Geforce Go 6150 video card... so it's possibly a vista problem?

will your game lock up after you enter combat?

I heard the DX9 only comes with the WoTG expansion, and not with the Nov 19 patch.

Need to find someone WoTG PC installed that's running Vista and Nvidia 8x00 cards to provide some feedback.

I believe Windower would be broken if this were the case, and it's not.

Switch to xp, i did and love my static 25+ fps :D

8600GT Tried it on the Vista Machine just for you.

Still broken. 3-4FPS

Your issue might be file related to FFXI if it's only in one zone. You're also using an intergrated graphics card which is a big no no :D . the Original poster is talking about viewtopic.php?f=36&t=23702&start=0

Vista+nVidia 8x00 still broke for me.

Pissed I have to dual boot to XP just for FFXI, but whatever.
