    media player

    a week or two ago someone mentioned something about a media player that plays almost any type of file. i just torrented a movie and it's in multiple files like .vob, .ifo, and .bup. any help would be appreciated

    They probably meant VLC; http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

    It's a beautiful bit of software, plays almost anything and uses resources sparingly.

    Do the images just appear as text saying image?

    I have that sometimes, try refreshing the page..does it for me

    Got a new firewall/ad blocking software or anything? I have no experience on mac so I can only suggest general things :S sorry
