Price Change

So got my Bank Statement today and notice SE was getting more money from me. Go to POL and see that i am now paying $25.90 for my first content and $2 for every other ID. Was there a notification about this? Did I miss an E-mail? According to POL this price increase started January 08. Am i missing something????

According to my bank staments i have been billed the same $$ every month since my wife and I started playing. Looking at last months(DEC) statement right now and shows it being billed. Never deactivated, although considering it now. As for this being advanced figure that the only reason my wife and I play MMO's is for cheap entertainment and we dont have to find a baby sitter, so whats more advanced than them doubleing the price to play. Just wondering if anybody else was getting billed double so I could have some ammo to go after SE with. Nothing like spending my lunch break tomarrow getting my money back

so it wouldnt be advanced if they randomly started charging people double fees? i know that doesnt seem to be the case but where else would you post this so that people could find out quickly and check

Most of the time what people think as being double billed is actually a charge for when SE messed up and forgot to charge you a month somewhere in the billing. Customer service has records of all your payments/and credit cards for your account on file. If you call them, they will tell you exactly why it was charged that much. I can tell you those who always think that they get double charge will say "Oh.. well that makes sense" after calling customer service. I used to work there. I know.

Anyway, this happened to me once a long ways back. I called, they apologized, reimbursed me for the extra money charged, and said they had no idea why it happened.

Something similiar to this happened with my bf's account (I had it under my credit card for a while) and they double charged me. They asked me for my address, so they could refund the 13.95$ they had charged but they never did. :/

As much as people like to demonize SE, they aren't in the business of lying to customers over 12 bucks.

Address could have been entered incorrectly when you gave it to them, or any other number of reasons.

SE blatantly lying isn't even an option in this case.

Secondly, billing errors happen all the time for any number of businesses. This particular business just happens to have a website devoted to bitching about it... er I mean devoted to talking about it.
