I remember seeing a SS sometime back of a "map plugin" for windower that would basically display a semi transparant "minimap" in the corner of your screen. Been looking for this for a while but yet to find it, anyone have a link?

Damn I wanted to get this but it seems as if the link is no longer available on the windower forums. Does anyone happen to have a link to working version of this plugin?
Would APradar show your position in a place you don't have a map? Say Crawler's nest?
yes, it has no correlation to the maps you possess on your character. The program uses it's own directory of map pictures and places your character on them, so as long as the program is updated, you will have maps for everywhere.
As a similar poster above stated, the plugin is no longer available on the windower forum. Anyone know the reason why? Or a safe spot to get a new link?Originally Posted by Furtwangler
Edit, I searched the windower forum and found a few links, but am hesitant to trust them since the original plugin was taken off the windower forum.
The plugin is actually MapMon, not ApRadar.
ApRadar, while similar to MapMon, is a standalone program only, while MapMon is a program with a windower plugin to let you bind keys to toggle settings on it.
The MapMon dev, however, is a little slow to update. Apnea (ApRadar) is a little faster.
Are there any updated maps for ApRadar though? I played around with it yesterday to see what its like but found that half the places I went to didn't have a map (Shadowreign areas, Pso'Xja, Salvage). Also having to rightclick->zoom->2x each and every time I zone seemed a bit unnecassery.
[edit] Nevermind about the maps, shouldve looked better. Found it now though..
it should save the zoom level... set it once and then whenever you come back into that zone its whatever you left it at. check file permissions on the ini file. (for read only or something)Originally Posted by rithridan
unless you mean whenever you visit a NEW zone. in that case either live with it or edit the ini file and set all zones to what you want, all at once.
