Multi-Light/Dark Skillchains

I was talking with a friend of mine about the quasi-merit party he was in with two other friends, and he mentioned that they would do double Light chains for fun - all three have relic weapons, so two of them would make Light and then the third would follow for a second Light. He suggested I come along some time, since it's a pretty relaxed and fun party environment.

Unfortunately, I'm not in the cool kids club, and don't have a relic weapon. I had thought that it might be possible for us to extend the chain into a triple Light - I go with Shark Bite, one of the relic holders follows with their WS for Light, and then the other two follow in turn for Light #2 and #3. My friend isn't sure if you can do that. Is this possible?

(Yes, I know, we'd have to make sure that whoever follows me uses a Fusion-based WS.)

I don't see why not. They'd be continuing it with an equivalent power skillchain, just as if you were to do do Cross Reaper > Tachi: Kashi > Asuran Fists > Shark Bite > Cross Reaper > etc, it works fine.

What mobs are these that are surviving this?

I was trying to get a Ground Strike > Kasha > Kaiten chain going when a Sam in my sky shell finished Amano, we kept killing things when Light would mirror, or his Kaiten would kill it.

ive always wanted to get a mob that has a whoole lotta hp, and an alliance of people with tp and I. wings, and have them do a continuous chain of all level 1 sc, then all level 2, a level 3, then a relic ws holder continue it. the damage from a 14 chain light would be pretty specacular i think :rocl:

A demon NM in Dynamis - Xarcabard would work. <_<

As far as I know, once a relic WS extends an existing Light or Darkness skillchain, the skillchain is over--you won't be able to continue.

Pretty sure as long as the next WS has the properties to continue off the previous relic WS, you can keep it going.

I recall hearing about Normal WS > Relic > Relic chains from one of the holders on the boards I think.

I was pretty sure the most you could do was a double light/dark. After the 2nd lv3, I don't think you can get more after that.

I asked this to other relic holders, and the general consensus is that no, you can't do a perpetual L3 Skillchain.

Hell I can't get mine to double reliably 2/3 of the time... Kaiten to Kasha for light to Kaiten again for double light... Some times it works... Sometimes it doesn't... Sometimes Kaiten to Kaiten does light... Sometimes it doesn't. I think my GK is possessed... But I know for a fact, no matter what Kaiten to Kaiten to Kaiten will do Light 100% of the time, but only after the third Kaiten, dunno why...

Relics are just odd in general.

I was asking this when I edit the SC page on oldwiki.
Since Meikyo > Namasx3 doesn't create double light, It's safe to say the second light continued by the relic WS is "Final Light". That is, you can't extend it.
