When RMT was a problem a lot of NM drops became EX to give everyone a chance and non-EX versions were moved to BCNMs. Now that the RMT phenomenom has died down a lot, would getting rid of "EX" in EX gear be helpful or a burden to everyone else?
SE implemented that for COP quest items & the item value dropped quickly. Of course doing the same for all EX items would have tremendously different implications. To me, it would simply be awesome since I don't have time to play at normal hours so it's almost impossible to get a big group together when I can play. My favorite thing to do is bazaaring while I sleep!
Useless AF2s on Mannequins would be able to be sold & so would a lot of other equip that takes up room. It would solve storage problems because when you need the item again you can just buy it back. People who don't have Sky LS would be able to raise the gil to get their Kitty pants finally. Fully finished relic weapons could be instantly sold for a nice chunk of gil. Really I think it would help for some of the more rarer equips like Ridill or Defending Ring or Salvage equip. This would give people other options rather than constantly doing the same thing "over and over again." Haha I know that last statement is almost what FF stands for.
If the STFU does a good job then the economy shouldn't take a drastic hit from RMT. However with all the truly uber gear on the market, all existing AH items will take a huge hit in value and hardly anyone will craft anymore & spend time going after all the uber gear which is fine by me.![]()
