i really don't have a lot of hope for this card...so i hope it surprises me. quite a few guys on here i don't know or don't know well...so at least it's getting some real fighters an opportunity to get on t.v...can't ever knock that. i'm curious to see Yves Edwards, haven't seen him for awhile and the last picture in everyone's head is him dumping 8 gallons of blood on the mat in the UFC. James Thompson is a beast...but i haven't seen him tested yet, so let's hope Brett is up to it. Ricco disgusts me. He's the kind of fighter that has sooo much talent and natural ability but doesn't have the drive to be great. He's content to sit on his fat ass and eat himself into retirement. Hopefully he'll actually show up tomorrow and not embarrass Ortiz's camp anymore than he already has. The story he told on t.v. of him crashing his car into a light pole while drunk...then dragging the body of his girlfriend (who he thought was dead) into the drivers seat and getting into the passengers seat himself...made up my mind that he was the biggest piece of shit in MMA. (the girl lived btw...no thanks to him)

it'll be on showtime. saw the WEC show, was pretty good show overall. surprised that Razor Rob lost, but Condit looked like a stud.

if you're gonna make a big deal over this guy like they are...yes you should be fighting people who matter. i.e.-brock lesner...he fought an ex-ufc champion and a TOUGH match for himself. i'm not saying this guy should be thrown to the wolves and forced to lose...i'm just saying he should face some better competition than someone who didn't wanna be in the cage at all and tapped the first time he got hit ... and an over the hill slugger they knew he'd knock out in 20 seconds. he has promise...and would be a good fighter if he were 5-10 years younger...but he's too old to learn MMA...they're gonna use him as a sideshow freak to sell PPV's and that's all...which is ok by me as long as the rest of the show displays fighters who deserve to be on the show.

I was wrong in my pick. Kimbo's striking did look nice, but I'm kinda wondering how those 3 power shots to the back of tanks head affected the fight. Would like to see him fight Ricco or or Silva or anyone worth a damn(to be fair tho I thought tank was a step up from cantrell but not much :/). The Colossus got ktfo badly too he needs to rethink his rush beginning maybe his fights would last passed the 1st round.

Actually I saw some pics of him punching and kicking a bag, so thats some pretty intense training by him.
