Yeah, I'm leaning towards hoax. I can understand not wanting people reading over your shoulder, but the emphasis seems a bit too much on MySpace as opposed to the individual the kid's allegedly corresponding with. Past experience with antagonism would've usually evolved into something like, "Ooo, your girlfriend!", "blah blah, sittin' in a tree...", "It's really a 40 y/o dude!", and so on. Really, you could easily replace with AIM, Yahoo, or even basic email. Sometimes the way the kid was looking to the camera was like he was fishing for cues, too.

I'm leaning towards staged too. The way those guys patronized him didn't seem legit, especially when they would ask him a question, and he would actually answer it, I would have just told them to fuck off. Another thing I didnt buy was how the kid was supposedly really mad and upset, but after everything he said, he would go back to his laptop. You would think he would just get his laptop and lock himself in his room.

That kid seemed genuinely upset. I think he was sobbing at some points. I'm leaning towards real, this kid is just messed up. His parents need to pay more attention to him, badly.

I don't think the video is funny at all because they were picking on him. I think it's pathetic that the little kid was using that sort of language and reacting like that (come on, fucking die and rot in the ground?) over anything... because it's too true these days.

It was not all that funny, except when everyone was doing the shrill scream at the same time- I will admit that made me chuckle. But for the most part, it was a horrible waste of time. 1 star.
