Ok BG, what do I do?

I found this dog yesterday.

I think it's a maltese? Anyway, looked around the neighborhood, no owner in sight. No tag. Went to a vet, checked for a chip. The dog HAS a chip, but it's not registered. Called the dog shelter told them I found this dog and it's staying with me.

So what do I do BG? I'd hate to see this dog be locked away in a cage. But it's a laphound, and no respectable man will ever own one.

I already semi-decided that I'll give it a week, put up the fliers. and if the owner doesn't show up, I'm gonna give it to a shelter.



Any suggestions?

idk, I don't think I'll loose sleep if I give her up.

But she has kinda grown on me.. she keeps following me around everywhere.

Plus, this dog belongs to somebody!

I was never really fond of that type of dog until I saw that House episode where Wilson gives House his dog, and then at the end the dog is walking away then stops and looks back at House. It brings a tear to my eye. (I think yours is the same kind that was in that episode)

I'd keep her.

Watch out Guartz, there is a listening device implanted inside that dog. Only a high amount of microwave radiation can disrupt its signal to the government. I can't speak long, I think they are on to me.

my sister looked at her, said she's a 4-5 year old maltipoo? lol

Whoever her owner is, he/she didn't take care of her well. Super long nails, bad/missing teeth and fleas.

There's no shame loving an animal, regardless of what it is, if you're a man. Keep it, at least it's not one of those huge dogs that would drown in it's own slobber if they weren't intelligent.
