That is the only thing worth seeing imo. Even so, they haven't released anything good since Filth Pig, so it's not worth my time.

Vincent (lead singer)from The acacia strain fronts Cockpunch aswell, Good lineup this year more metal then hardcore though but thats the way shit seems to be going. I remember going once and I didn't know who Paul Booth was at the time and was just shooting the shit with him. he was selling some jewelry and had pics of his tats.

I also grew up with the old drummer from Shadows Fall-Dave Germaine- and watching him get shitfaced stumbling around the paladium was always fun. He's in a band called Gigata cat now and they play in Amsterdam Most looking forward to seeing Job for a cowboy though

Meh, In Flames used to be good. Their new music is absolute junk... still looking forward to seeing them. Picked up tickets for this as it's about 30 minutes away from where I live.

Wish they still sounded like they did back during the Jester Race / Whoracle era... Lunar Strain (their first album) was pretty decent too.

I completely agree. Anders and Jesper need to be shot for what they did to that band.

Megadeth, Keep of Kalessin. Pretty much all that's worth seeing with Megadeth for the nostalgia, and Keep of Kalessin because they're just ungodly good.

Interested to see if the Milwaukee Metalfest actually manages to book some good acts. Maryland Deathfest was phenomenal last year with Demilich playing, and 2008 is going to be great as well:

I agree with your list but I would add Impaled for sure.

Bah, I can't believe I overlooked Impaled. Surprised they're still around after Necropolis Records went belly-up and screwed over a ton of their bands.
