Hasso is a delay reduction not haste.
6 Hit: Capped Merits, Askar body, Rajas and Brutal
makes sense with recast, but i thought you need 15 store tp with capped merits for 6hit?Originally Posted by Neb
Hasso is external "faux haste", a 10% outside of magic/equip haste.
As for 6hits, I could tell you a few but I'm sure some SAMs will come on and tell you in more detail.
why aren't you on for windurst lazyOriginally Posted by Raen Ryong
As Hasso does not affect TP gains, it is closer to Haste (which does not reduce TP per hit) than Delay Reduction (which does reduce TP per hit).Originally Posted by Neb
You only need 11 StpOriginally Posted by drewbixcube
The gear I posted is what I wear and I have a 6 hit.
def: 6-hit : taking exactly 6 swings to go from 0 to 100 TP.
beginner's option for 6-hit is a combo of merits and hachiman pieces, most common being full merits, hachi feet, rajas and brutal or chiv chain.
you need 21 sTP at lvl 75 to achieve 6-hit with a 450 delay weapon. full merits equal 10, leaving 11 to gain from gear.
Hasso is non-gear non-magic haste. Does not affect TP-per hit, stacks with other types of haste.
never forget to consider what store tp you have on ws gear. if you dont want to bother with the math, test in game by starting with 0 tp, making your first hit in ws gear, then swapping into tp gear and see if you get 100 in 6 hits. there are people with setups to use hachiman feet for ws which has store tp, but you may ws in rutters which doesnt have store tp. be smart dont fart
here are a couple examples of some setups you may see around(remember that tp is cut off at the tenth decimal spot, not rounded):
Hagun TP Gain 11.5
Store TP Normal hit 25+10+11(HSuneAte, Brutal, Rajas) = 46 = 16.7 *5 = 83.5
Store TP WS 25+10+11(HSunate, Brutal, Rajas) = 41 = 16.7
6 Hit = 100.2
Hagun TP Gain 11.5
Store TP Normal hit 25+10+15(HKote+1, Brutal, Rajas) = 50 = 17.2 *5 = 86
Store TP WS 25+10+6(Brutal, Rajas) = 41 = 16.2
6 Hit = 102.2
Hagun TP Gain 11.5
Store TP Normal hit 25+10+13(UsuFeet, Brutal, Rajas) = 48 = 17 *5 = 85
Store TP WS 25+10+6(Brutal, Rajas) = 41 = 16.2
6 Hit = 101.2
Hasso question answered. It has its own category ^^ but doesn't reduce casting/recast time (it reduces them, actually)
My 6-hit equips:
Capped merits (10)
Rajas ring (5)
Hachiman kote (8)
I wear C. Chain if I'm close to accuracy cap, and Brutal earring if I'm not using Soboro (and even when I am sometimes). But those don't really matter once I put on the kote.
If I had Usukane sune-ate, I'd be wearing Dusk gloves instead of the kote.
Getting a 6 hit with an Askar body is a noble idea, problem is that you lose too much acc from swapping to Askar body for TPing. Although a 6 hit with 20% haste is beautiful, capping your acc is more important that 3% haste. I use Askar gloves and Hachiman Sune-ate personally since the big difference in haste comes at 15% for SAM's since that's the % that they can solo Skillchain's with Hasso and Meditate and no DA proc.
Edit: Sorry about going off on a tangent >.> you need 25% haste to solo a SC with meditate and 6hit and no DA proc, thus: hasso = 10% haste (weapon delay only)
I assume you mean that it increases them =pbut doesn't reduce casting/recast time (it reduces them, actually)
But yeah, it's "faux haste" in so much that although it does give you a 10% "delay reduction", it does not reduce your TP/hit (much like haste), but also doubles recasts (unlike haste) and doesn't adhere to either equip/magic cap.
Most common 6-hit for TP:
Hagun
Pole Strap
Tiphia Sting (Smart Grenade)
Walahra Turban (Ace's Helm)
Haubergeon (+1)
Hachiman Kote (+1) (if you use Fuma Sune-Ate as your feet slot), Dusk Gloves (+1) (If you use H.Sune-Ate (+1) as your feet slot or possess Usukane Sune-Ate)
Rajas Ring (Absolutely needed)/ Ulthalam's/Sniper (+1)/Woodsman/Jaeger/Toreador
Forager's Mantle/Amemet Mantle +1
Swift Belt
Byakko's Haidate
Fuma Sune-Ate/Usukane Sune-Ate/H.Sune-Ate (+1) (Refer above to see details)
I guess you can assume what to use for WS on your own, others have covered 6-hit already so won't explain.
You don't need Hachiman Sune-ate +1, Sune-ate give +5 STP, Brutal gives +1 and Raja's gives +5 that's +11stp which gives you a 6hit.Hachiman Kote (+1) (if you use Fuma Sune-Ate as your feet slot), Dusk Gloves (+1) (If you use H.Sune-Ate +1 as your feet slot or possess Usukane Sune-Ate)![]()

Isn't the idea of H.Kote +1 that you can take them off, and not use H.feet during WS, but keep 6 hit with Brutal/Rajas?
Alky+Rutters > Alky+H.feet or H.Kote+Rutters
Yes, H.Kote +1 and Fuma (Alky + Rutters) is the ideal setup till your att is capped then after that, Dusk/H.Feet are just as good.Originally Posted by Max™
Until of course you get Usu feet, and can use Dusk (+1) hands with them, I assume.
My 6 hit build is cheating, go go Rajas+Brutal+Chiv (or landing 2 hits on Raging Rush)!
Yep, Dusk (+1)/Usukane Sune-Ate is the best hand/feet combo for sam.Originally Posted by Max™
