I totally don't believe this - I had to force some of these patterns.
Since they announced Mog Bonanza I thought it would be pretty lame if you could take the advice of the characters they 'interviewed.'
It would have worked...
Elvaan Gentleman - Reward: 10 exp scrolls.
Easy enough - get ten 11111s.Rahal, that miserable miser... How long does he think to delay the dispatchment of kingdom forces to strike down the Orcish threat? From whence did the throne's coffers take precedence over the safety of our citizens? With the winnings, I shall restore the order of knights to their former glory, and-- What? Bonanza numbers!? ...... A concentrated offensive is the most fundamental military strategy! Ten marbles for number 11111 shall be my pick!
Hume Gentleman - Reward: Rank 3
This one is a huggge stretch.
Ok - only taking the consecutive numbers in to account and that he's an engineer and a super nerd...I'm only interested in playing because revenue from the Mog Bonanza is supposed to go towards Mog House maintenance and improvement. You could say it's my little way of showing support to all the tireless young adventurers out there. But of course, I don't intend to just make up the numbers--no pun intended, heheh. My calculations have shown that consecutive numbers will maximize one's chances, so that's how I'll be picking my ten. On top of that, I'm forming a syndicate with nine trustworthy friends from the Metalworks, which means we'll have all possible combinations covered for the last two digits. After all, a bigger net catches more fish!
The correct consecutive numbers to pick are 5 + 4 - 54 to be precise. 379 is the 54th Chen Prime number. /lame
Tarutaru Lady - Reward: Rank 2!
This is another huge stretch - pick all her '10' numbers - just buy 100 marbles in the 010xx pattern and you got a rank 2.Wealth not obtained through one's own hard work is meaningless. That is why your so-called Mog Bonanza fails to capture my interest. But, if I were to play like those gil-starved adventurers. I'd simply have you, the moogle, pick my ten numbers. What's that, you ask? What if the numbers should be off the mark? I'd be full of pity for you. Because it's me that you'll have to answer to! Ohohohohoho!
Another Hume Gentleman - Reward: Rank 4
Not as big a stretch this time. He plans on picking one number - so if you picked 11111, 22222, 33333, 44444, etc. you got yourself a rank 4. (and an exp scroll)I've been waiting a long time for something exciting like this to come along. I doubt a young whippersnapper like you will understand, but when you get to my age and have seen all there is to see, nothing really gets your heart pumping anymore. What? Want to know how I'll pick my numbers, eh? Actually, I intend to pick only one. I don't know what that number is yet, but I'm sure it'll reveal itself when it's good and ready. The rest I leave to fate. I have a feeling a lot of young'uns looking for ways to better their chances won't be satisfied with my answer. Sorry to disappoint! Heh heh heh…
And I wouldn't be a bit surprised if over half the 100mil winners live in various parts of Indiana where 47396 is their zip code...
