Go test with it. Get a parser and parse against someone using axe/ridill or perdu vulge.
Unfortunately I think Organics is going to be limited to a playtoy for PLD. Its just not practical for a DRK or WAR to be using it.
I parsed it. It's the best sword and game. Now go buy it in my bazaar at 3millions
I'm going to go with PLD playtoy. Probably better for war/nin with no axe merits, but I doubt it would outparse maneater if you're 8/8.
Theoretically, it should be the mainhand weapon of choice for Ridill WAR. Even if it just barely misses out to Maneater/Ridill, it frees up eight combat skill merits if it's close enough for you to make the switch. Unfortunately, Achamoth hasn't dropped it for me yet so I can't parse, but I'm hoping to get around to popping him again this weekend.
To be honest, I don't see this sword being used in practical application. The only situation I'd use sword/sword period is Rid/Joy on Greater Lolibri, and the Nix obviously won't replace the Ridill, and if you use it in place of the Joyeuse you use the piercing bonus, which is why Rid/Joy is so good in the first place. Organics/Ridill sure is sexy town gear though.
I still like birds because they make for nice Slug Shots, makes your peepee feel big.
Side note: Even as just a PLD play thing, it is a really nice WS Sword, hoping to get one to DW with Joy, ideally I could at least hold my own in meripo on PLD when I get to that level so that I'm not forced into Campaign for all my buffer.
/stab SE for not giving BLU this weapon.
That is all.
There is the other nice one, Fragawhatever at least.
Some of the ZNM weapons are made just to spite jobs that would have otherwise used it nicely.
Yes, I'm looking at you Labrys, fuck you and your BST/DRK/WAR
Wouldn't Company Sword be better for Meritpo uses on PLD?
Yeah that's kind of a tough one, while for most WS' I'd take the higher base D, really the damage in Vorpal comes from A) landing all hits and B) getting crits. With such a small fTP multiplier the high base damage isn't doing so much, and it'd be pretty hard to tell but I'd think the Organics would come out ahead overall for Vorpal. Plus come on, the thing just fucking looks badass and that's worth 6 base D itself.
