Firefox 3 Cache Errors

So yeah. Back in Tech support. Hoorah. I'm having issues with Firefox 3. Talked to Sono about it, and he said it may have to do with some sort of cache error.

Basically what's happening to me is when I'd go to open a new page in a new tab, sometimes it'd just have (Untitled) on the tab, though the link would stay in the address bar. Other times it'd load the page partially, and leave some images unloaded or something. I could see how that'd be a cache problem. Also, while in BG obviously, whenever I refresh the page to check new posts, it doesn't completely load. Those little icons by the topics that show how many times you've posted in a thread and what not don't load, and I just see the text for them instead. Not sure what to do about the issue.

What plugins are you using? This same thing happened to me when I installed the Fast Dial plugin. I think the most recent update broke it or something, and caused FF3 to go crazy. Try disabling your plugins and see if that helps you at all, especially if you use Fast Dial.

Hrm. All I use is Ad-Block Plus, DownloadHelper, and Rikaichan (JP Translator).. so I dunno. I'll try that. My internet is real laggy too for some reason. I hate computer problems. D:

I have had the same/similar issues with FF3, however I believe it has to do with the number of TCP sockets open. If I pause my torrent program (currently Azureus, too lazy to switch to utorrent), FF3 loads all pages properly. This is a very reliable way for me to correct the issue when i experience it.

Hrm. I'll give it a try. After sleeping on it, my stuff seems to load, but it still loads agonizingly slow for the kind of connection I have. I think I'm on an 8mbit/512kbit line. D: When I do have uTorrent open, my Torrents connect properly, I'm able to download at my full speed, but stuff loads too slowly. Eh, bleh.
