Ariri Samariri - Wing 2 Einherjar boss

Ok, we usually take 4 parties of DD DD DD DD BRD WHM, one blm pt and one tank pt. We have met this frog about 4-5 times now and lost every time because the thing is crazy XD. We have gone to kill this frog with 10 mins to spare every time and he seems to kill everyone or we time out chasing him around =/. I'm just asking if there's any tips from people who have killed by fluke or can consistently kill him. Thank you in advace!

I'm nowhere near the authority on Einherjar, but what works for us is to bring at least one or two RDM/DRK for annoying bosses. Since the frog doesn't stay in place for more than 10 seconds it is pretty hard to do damage to him, but if you can Chainstun to keep him in place you could zerg him down.

I've only seen this one once so far but with we've been praying to have it again because it was so easy, so I would concur that rdm/drks is a likely solution to your problem. You should want a couple for tier 2 anyway I would think, it greatly simplifies the flan and dahak as well.

Never had real trouble with this boss. We soulvoice the DD pts then go all out w/o any RDM stuns. We have never needed CS stun for any bosses. Well just 2-3 BLms to stun aga3 ( not aga2),and WHMs keep barwater up.

We usually have a rdm in the tank pt, ill have them /drk, ill have one of the blm's in their pt come rdm/drk instead of the bard. Hopefully that should solve my problem, thanks!

The only purpose of RDM in Einherjar is to chainstun the boss. Unless your BLM contingent sucks, then yea would need crowd control help.

I don't even bother with madrigal. 4 sv songs over 3 dd parties, chainstun go, and it dies. This applies to pretty much every wing boss except chair guy.

After Waterbomb the hate of the frog will sort of flip upside down. People with 0 hate will get chased down (like mules who were just standing there all time) and people with ltos of hate will be ignored.


Just tell your people to stop running away from it since it will catch you anyway. Never really lost to this boss. Unlucky Waterbomb spam can kill a WHMs MP fast tho.

It's not exactly Water Bomb who reset the hate. It's after each Frong Song (or Chorus) that he decides to act like the Manticore / Buffalo Boss with the use of Graviga / Water Bomb. It's a "mode" which last 1 min each time (the time taken for the personn to be no longer charmed). In others words, he decide to run anywhere / Water Bomb / Graviga only when someone is charm.

frog is easy,just css like ppl said. thing is incredibly squishy and one of the easiest bosses imo.
