He got what he deserved.
He was a good man. I never saw it coming.
Too bad she didn't shoot him in the dick.
She'd be fucking jailed if that happened in the UK.
In reference to how a few years back a farmer shot a THF but not fatally (THF was stealing stuff, repeated attempts, farmer got frustrated), the THF got off free and farmer was put in jail.
I think the difference here is that the woman was definitely about to be physical assaulted and her life may have even been at stake. If he was just coming to steal, there's a chance she could have gotten jailed, depending on how (and where) things happened. There have been similar cases here in the U.S.
I remember, being told a story years ago before I was on the job....
about someone breaking into a victims house, in the hopes of stealing items. Only to have the family dog attack said thief and tear up his legs pretty good. Only to have the thief sue the victim and win, because he/she didn't put up a "beware of dog" sign. lol
(main reason why I have multiple signs now, just so my shepherd can legally fuck up a thief)
I thought phone lines supplied their own power to home telephones...?She tried to call 911, but couldn't because the power was off.
I heard one where a burglar (hamburglar most likely) was breaking into someone's house through the roof. He fell through the ceiling somehow and landed on the kitchen counter. Ended up suing the owners via some legal tomfoolery and I *think* he won.
Batman would not be amused.
I don't get how people can sue someone and win, when they were commiting a crime.
She sent that bitch a smiley. Bitches love smileys.
So basically, the point of the story:
If someone breaks into your house, you better fucking kill them so they can't sue you.
I am surprised no one has mentioned the fact that this man was breaking into her house for a second time in a week, he had raped her only 2 or 3 days before and was back for more.
Woman was well within her rights to defend herself.
he got owned lol
She obviously "got that fire".
Shit, now that songs in my head.
