    lol sage.

    Anyways,

    • Designer(s)
      Hiromichi Tanaka
      Koichi Ishii

      Writer(s)
      Masato Kato

      Artist(s)
      Tetsuya Nomura
      Nobuyoshi Mihara
      Tamae Kisanuki

      Composer(s)
      Nobuo Uematsu
      Naoshi Mizuta

In a sense, noone "made" FFXI. Its not like its a lightbulb or something. It was a collaboration of many people under one company.

Most of the actual dev team are the guys behind Chrono Cross. After CC was wrapped up they started work on XI. :D

Even though he isin't on the wiki iirc for it. He did "Promotional Artwork, Title Logo Designer & Image Illustrator" for the game.

Just a shame he only wrote a handful of pieces, the vast majority of the music is by Naoshi Mizuta, who has done a bang up job of following in Uematsu's footsteps (wotg soundtrack just rocks especially).

Really don't know much about Kumi Tanioka.

Edit: I mean in reference to ffxi

A friend of mine from college was on the original FFXI dev team at Square. His team was in charge of much of the PlayOnline UI and the oft-maligned patch update system for the game. He moved on to other projects a long time ago, though; I think his latest was the Crystal Chronicles game for the DS. I saw him a year ago at a wedding and asked him if he could give any hints on how to beat AV, and he didn't even know what Absolute Virtue was . He also thought it was both amusing and sad that I was still playing FFXI.

Sage Sundi is only the supplier of Ferraris for Square Enix.

They have alot of money to go around with what we give em!

Regarding the design of Ares body

    FFT ramza:

Always assumed it was where they got the inspiration from. The similarity is quite clear.
