Bayonetta 2?

Sega, so far, have not announced a sequel to Bayonetta, but
Bayonetta director Hideki Kamiya believes we’ll see one.

Responding to a fan asking if there will be a Bayonetta 2 over
Twitter, Kamiya wrote in English, “I believe so.” Kamiya also
tweeted to a different person, “She’ll [Bayonetta] be back if you
believe so.”

The next and final title from the Sega and Platinum Games
partnership is Vanquish. Bayonetta is a Sega owned intellectual
property.

There was a pretty strong story present in the game, which unfolds very slowly until the end. There were even several genuine 'what a tweeeests'.

Maybe this one will have a story.

lol What a faggot thing to say in a Bayonetta thread to begin with. I could understand people thinking there wasn't one because how stylish and well executed the presentation and combat is. "Bayonetta 2" could drop the story altogether and there would be few complaints.

I think the only "bad" parts of bayonetta are the parts with vehicles-- I got screwed out of medals so many times on the motorcycle section because I fell through the floor, and the camera is permanently zoomed in way too far. The missile part is pretty bad too, I think the whole level should have been like the 2 short parts where you're fighting a few affinities and an applaud on the missile itself. All in all they just feel out of place, the core of bayonetta is skillful combat and split second dodges but the vehicle levels are just holding down fire and swerving around the screen with almost no skill involved whatsoever.

I thought there was a lot, but some of the verses are hidden which means some levels can feel bare. Though some of the verses are pathetically short/easy.

I didn't mind the motorbike part, but I agree the vehicle sections were weak. I fucking hate the missile mission with a passion, which is annoying because it's followed by an awesome fight.

Main reason I hated missle chapter was due to trying to unlock Jeanne the legit way. Trying to Platinum that chapter was a pure fucking bitch. And I guess it was just me that thought verses were lacking a bit of enemies, either way, I'd still like to see a bit more just to add a little more to the fun factor.

Apparently, Platinum Games will continue to work with Sega. Speaking at Tokyo Game Show, the studio's producer and executive director Atsushi Inaba said the "relationship between Sega and Platinum games does not end with Vanquish."

While no specifics were given, Platinum Games lead Hideki Kamiya has been rather vocal about a doing a sequel to Bayonetta. When fans inquired about Bayonetta 2, Kamiya coyly responded, "shell be back if you believe so."

Vanquish, Platinum's latest title, is a fast-paced shooter directed Shinji Mikami. The game is due out in October for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
