Ares's Gauntlets Usage

So I just recently finished my Ares's Gauntlets. I haven't been able to join a meripo since I got them. Just wondering how others are using them. Meaning, are you using them as a TP or WS piece. I have been using the Alky Brac. for WS and Dusk Gloves for TP.

I really wasn't planning on getting these really but since I got the pieces mas well. Kinda explains why I haven't done much research on this matter already.

For WAR they're good for Raging Rush if you don't have Heca Mittens.

For TP: if your acc is over 90% (which it may well be at birds, definitely during Aggressor), or you're getting haste+double march and your acc is over 75%, use dusk. Otherwise use ares.

I use Ares Hands (and Body) for multi-hit WS since I don't have Heca Hands. Never really used them for TP since I rarely have acc issues.

I use it for Guillotine WS. I also macro them in for lurkers along with ares feet for an acc build on my DRK and WAR.

I used them on Penta for DRG before I got Drakes, I tend to feel they are a nice item for Multi hit WS, you get a ton of acc, and still get some STR to back it.

I'm using those over heca hands because I always forget to swap back to TP gears. Damage wise, heca is probably better, but I couldn't parse the difference.

Thanks for the imput, still havent been able to get out and meripo. I will this weekend thou. Just a thought, I have been lazy on breaking the GA for Steel Cyclone. But wouldnt they be a nice bonus to Steel Cyclone since there is a VIT mod on that WS.

if you were talking about steel cyclone, use alky's instead of heca or ares <_>;

If my favorite WHM is present, I go WAR/SAM with 6-hit build. After merits and gear, I break 90% ACC in that setup so I TP in Dusk and WS in Heca. Otherwise, when I have to /NIN and axe/axe, I Rampage in the Ares hands, because of the lower skill grade in axe. Near the same amount of accuracy in both setups, but parse results show a consistent 89% ACC using hand axes, versus a consistent 92-93% with GAxe(This is also using HH Pie as opposed to sushi).

Like someone said earlier if you can approach or break 90% accuracy, TP in Dusk. If not, TP in Ares, it's a solid piece either way.
