anywhere there's status effects, /whm is superior, nothing more annoying than having to wait 30seconds-1min for poison to wear so you can rest, or whiffing constantly when a mob is at 5% because you got hit with Black Cloud or Dark Spore.
i haven't tried /blu because mine is like 16 or 17, however /whm is probably going to be a LOT more useful in emergencies simply because a divine seal cure3 can save your life if a pet dies a little too soon. /blu has nothing so powerful in mid levels. regen is also great when you pull hate, as it restores 120HP with very little enmity compared to a cure. tbh the main advantages of /blu have always seemed a little irrelevant to me, since cocoon and the like are for damage mitigation rather than prevention, and you DON'T want to be taking hits yourself usually. if you do get hate, it's probably wiser to turn for a few seconds, rather than let it beat on you while you keep meleeing.
finally, don't underestimate blink; if a mob is hitting you for 100 per hit and blink absorbs 2 hits, that's more damage mitigation that you get from even stoneskin.
/dnc seems like it could work, however there's no damage mitigation whatsoever unlike /nin, /blu, or /whm. i'd therefore advise it only when you're comfortable with managing hate in a particular camp, and when there's little chance of links (both from mischarms and from prey). the enfeebles it offers are probably great for pets keeping hate, evasion down and whatnot, and drain samba may also be more convenient than cure1 spam/mp resting at low levels.
i would advise you to level whm to 37 because it's pretty much the solo standard, and imo offers great survivability/flexibility with camp locations. having said that, though, the superior sub is the one YOU like the best- so try everything.
