I use a USB controller for my laptop to play FFXI and for the last day or so my character has been either stuck on autorun or (when I switch off analog mode) will start to toogle-target between two NPCs or whatever in the vicinity. I went to Device Managers, FFXI Config and my Game-Controller settings and it works there whenever I do a test. Also, whenever I plug out the controller when it starts to act up that doesn't resolve the issue it caused in FFXI and I'd need to log off with the controller plugged out in order to get my character to stop running on her own.
