[Bismarck] Penance Salvage Group

Penance has been doing Salvage for about 3 months now. We have completed 12 pieces of gears so far with many people waiting for the 3rd piece to drop. The way Penance works is we do 1 zone for 4 weeks equally 20 runs per zone. In that time we focus on 2-4 NM and the boss each run. For example, currently we are finishing up SSR and the main run we have been doing is 4 NM's and the boss. We have found out how to efficiently plan and execute Salvage bcuz Salvage is all we do.

Currently we are looking to add one more person to the roster making it a 7 man group. If you meet the requirements feel free to apply. Cross server applicants are welcome but expect a BG check.

Requirements
Main Job: MNK or BRD
At least 1 other Job(s): WHM BLM RDM
Gather Days: Mon-Thurs + Sun
Gather Times: 7pm PST (10pm EST)
Assault Points Required per Week: 7500
Assault Rank: Chief Sergeant or better
Gears: Very well geared Main Jobs
Merits: Capped for Main Jobs
Primary Salvage Sets Available: Morrigans, Ares, Skadi

Penance is ONLY a Salvage Linkshell. We do some lowman events like inside Sea NM, KS30-99, ENM and ISNM that are strictly voluntary. We are a humble & friendly LS yet we get shit done when it's Salvage time.

Marduk not available?! First time EVER I heard of a salvage group that has no place for marduk-seekers.

Jokes aside, it would seem strange to ask for mnk or brd main when both usukane and marduk are unavailable.

well i have BRD and MNK lvld and want Skadi for my COR or Ares for my WAR, but I am not on bismarck so duh. Definitly possible to find people, but yes would be hard under theese circumstances.

Most people now-a-days have more than one job leveled. I personally have quite a few. Right now I am doing Ares for my WAR and I consider my RDM to be my main job. Right now my main job has enuff gears to make the average RDM alittle jealous so I guess that proves that you can find anyone.

Not even sure if we have anyone on Morrigans right now and the person on Skadi is 4/5 for set.

With melee jobs though, your "main" is going to be the one you have merited. If you drk and drg and want to go for ares over usu, chances are you're going to have scythe and polearm instead of h2h merits. It will be hard to find a true main job mnk who doesn't want usukane.

There's an argument to be had either way. Main MNK still have 8 open merit slots for more weapon skill. Also Meriting Critical/HP/Evasion/Spell down and JSmerits will help. You have limited options with merits but you really have make 2 melee jobs really well merited as far as weapon skill go. There is no one to say you can't have H2H and GA merited. In fact I just started on my H2H merits and I just flipped 70 MNK.


We just picked up a new BRD and he is on Ares. Applications are still being taken and will be stored for future reference. Thanks to those that applied.
