Just wondering if anyone has attempted to low-man this ks99. I would imagine DoT kiting wouldn't work since it can go into its shell and regen, so what is the fewest number of people this could potentially be done with?

i'd say maybe tank, rdm, sam x2, blm x4,

maybe a cor or bard for blm support

Just so you konw> on out last runs w/ 8 BLMs a full round of Blizzard 4 MB w/ a couple resists would not bring him out of his shell.

Big problem with low man is the small mana pool you will have. if he goes in when you have no MP it is game over.

tbh with 8 blms you probably had the issue where you put him in his shell > pushed him out > and put him back in again.

last time i tried this with 6 blm, everytime we put him in > pushed him out perfectly. one of our whms had to leave so we added another blm and that 1 extra nuke put him back in his shell again.

either way, bringing a low amount of people, you run the risk of not being able to control it if it goes in it's shell a second time, but i think it's definitely do-able if the blms know what to expect and know when to nuke and when to calm down
