Suggestions on Area Viewer?

Hey guys, so I wanted to look at all those hidden things you can't normally reach in the game, and hopefully some of the unreleased areas like walk of echos... but when i downloaded the EWH viewer on ffxidats.com and installed it, and followed directions... the viewer opens up but all it displays is a unarmored hume male in a blue backround and nothing else, and I got no clue on how to view an area or anything ><; is there a different area viewer or advice on how to use this one? Im on windows vista if that's important.

I'm pretty sure Mortama updates this and has instructions on how to use it included in the zip.

That doesn't exactly help at all considering i followed the instructions and used that very same version. My problem isn't that it crashes on trying to start it, nor that it won't start... my problem is that when i open it the window only has a naked hume male and a empty light blue backround, and no menu on loading zones or the like. all the camera keys work properly, and i can make him do a walk or run animation or the like, but neither is a big use when the whole area is empty. ><; I'm wondering why its working but the menu button simply pauses his moving and nothing else. also, the window isnt fully centered either, so im wondering if maybe the menus there but off the screen, but trying to move it is... oh crap...


(just realized while typing this message to try changing dimensions displayed on my comp to see if that helped... found the rest of the window and the actual menu lol. apparantly 800 x 600 is not advised for this, gotta be the next one to see the menu -_-; wish they mentioned that in the readme)

Oh and just so you know there will be an update of ewh after SEs version update.

Mort, is there a way to get EWH to display the sky/weather/effects? I found the sunny, snow, fog, dark, etc. settings but they do nothing.

It won't display certain weather if that zone isn't made to have that weather. i.e. Xarcabard dark weather setting will work, Bibiki Bay will not.
