Create a MTG Card..

Saw a thread like this over on xkcd forums and thought it was a cool idea.. the idea is to think up a Magic: The Gathering card.

The basic rules are..
- you have to use the card name made up by the person posting before you
- you have to provide a card name for the person posting after you
- you can use any game mechanic from any expansion, except for ante and banding because no one plays ante and banding is DUMB.
- you can make "broken" cards and "Unglued" cards
- creature cards must have at least one creature type
- flavor text is optional, as is an actual image mockup of your card

Example (this is the card I thought up on xkcd):

Cunning Fugitive - 1UU - Creature: Wizard

1UU: Cunning Fugitive gains +1/+1 and shadow until end of turn.
3, T, Sacrifice Cunning Fugitive: Draw two cards, then choose and discard a card.
The fugitives are anonymous. The fugitives are legion.

Play this card Face Down

During target opponents next turn choose one effect, then shuffle "Just as Planned" back into your library:
If the opponent has played a non-creature spell she discards 2 cards. You draw 2 cards
If the opponent has played a creature spell she sacrifices the creature. You gain life equal to the sacrificed creatures casting cost.

Legendary Nonbasic Land
T: Add UB to your mana pool.
2,T: Look at target player's hand and choose a creature, sorcery, or land card there. You may either play that card as an instant (creatures and lands come into play under your control), OR remove it from the game, then search all players' libraries, hands and graveyards for the same card and remove them from the game.

The background check is perfect for weeding out bad server transfers, or just blowing up a reputation.
